The car is powered by a 2.0-liter DOHC i-VTEC engine that produces 201PS at 8,000rpm. This enables the hot hatch to run from 0-62 mph in 6.6 seconds before hitting a top speed of 146 mph. Compared to a standard Civic, the Type R features aggressive styling, a 20mm wider rear track, sportier damper and spring characteristics, a 15mm reduction in ride height, and an improved steering setup.             |
