如一楼所言，义和团固然是打着爱国的旗号行不义之事，但是义和团的源头是什么呢？是他们在饱受地主阶级剥削和部分洋人欺压的情况，愚昧的人做出愚蠢的行动，并非毫无来由。这不过和膝跳反应类似，有压迫就有反抗罢了，有时这种行为不可一概而论。
